A five time Telly Award Winning Filmmaker, Tara-Nicole, began acting at the age of 4. She took a brief hiatus from the biz to pursue gymnastics and then jumped back into acting again at age 8. As an actress, her ability to cry on cue put her on the map. Difficult subjects & dramatic scenes are challenges she is drawn to and excels at.
She is best known for being one of the most successful Indie film directors under the age of 21. She has written and directed 6 short films, the two comedic webseries Tara TV and #Nertabulous, which combined, have shown at over 150 film festivals to date. Her films have screened at The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood and at the TCL Chinese Theater on Hollywood BLVD. An honor for any filmmaker! She's been showcased by MSN on "Kid Wonders" and in addition to her 5 Telly Awards, Tara also has more than 40 + awards / nominations under her belt for her filmmaking.
As a member of a writing family, Tara-Nicole began writing children's books at a young age, in part, to help her learn to cope with Dyslexia. Tara not only learned how to cope with her learning disability, she has 3 times won the prestigious Young Author's contest. In 2010, she branched out & wrote a screenplay entitled, My Name Is...Anna. In addition to writing the film, Tara-Nicole also directed & starred in the project. 5 more films have followed.
In addition to Tara Television,Tara-Nicole has her very own student run production company called Front Porch Film.
Tara-Nicole is also a former All-Star cheerleader, recipient of the meritorious Silver Award in Girl Scouting & The Corlin National Community Service Award. Leaving her learning disablility behind, Tara graduated High School at 14 and gave her school's commencement speech!
In her spare time, Tara-Nicole loves amusement parks and is crazy about Japanese Anime.
